Big Bang Confirmed for Coachella 2026

Taeyang of the group BIGBANG has announced his return to solo activities after approximately three years. His agency, The Black Label, released a teaser image hinting at Taeyang's comeback through their official social media on the 1st. This marks his first new release in about three years since his second EP, ‘Down to Earth,’ which was released in April 2023.

The released image contained the word ‘QUINTESSENCE’ along with a meaningful message. Starting with "A word that has stayed in my heart, a word this era needs most," and concluding with "The most important things are invisible," it hints at the philosophical message and Taeyang's unique sensibility that will be included in the new album.

Taeyang, an ‘all-rounder artist’ with unparalleled performance skills and stage presence, has expanded his connection with global fans by successfully completing a fan meeting tour in seven cities, including Seoul, from July to December last year.

Along with his solo comeback, Taeyang is also accelerating his group activities. He is confirmed to perform as a headliner at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the United States, with his BIGBANG bandmates on the 12th, signaling the peak of his activities in 2026, encompassing both group and solo endeavors.
