Rapper BewhY has addressed the controversy surrounding his lyrics, which some interpreted as a jab at election fraud. He stated, "There's a trend of labeling people as conspiracy theorists just for questioning things," and regarding the existence of election fraud itself, he remained non-committal, saying, "I don't know."

In a video released on the YouTube channel "Beauty Bullet" on the 5th, BewhY directly mentioned the recent controversy about his lyrics targeting the National Election Commission (NEC). He explained the suspicion that the line "If you reveal everything, you'll be surprised. That level is like foresight" from his featured song with Kwon Woo-seon in "Show Me The Money 12" semi-finals was a reference to the NEC and an accusation of election fraud.

He said, "The NEC is an institution that should be the most transparent and fair in our country," and while there's a lot of talk about elections, "there are things that have already been revealed as facts." He added, "Over several hundred cases have already been revealed, and it heated up recently when Representative Lee Jun-seok debated it."
BewhY distanced himself from political interpretations of his remarks, saying, "It's easy to frame this as political when I talk about it, but I don't understand why it's political." He pointed out, "It's healthy for the public's doubts to be resolved," and "There's a trend of labeling people as conspiracy theorists just for questioning things."

When directly asked, "Is it election fraud?" he replied, "I don't know," and explained, "Whether it exists or not, some factions will be surprised, and whether it doesn't exist, some factions will be surprised, so it's an expression in a broad sense."
