Mystery thriller 'Pig Pen,' starring Jang Ki-yong and Cha Seung-won, has been unable to secure a broadcast slot for two years.

Filming was completed in January of last year, with the aim of an OTT release, but the broadcasting plans fell through. It has been 1 year and 4 months since filming concluded, yet a platform to showcase the work has not been found.

Due to the broadcasting delay, the production team plans to further focus on post-production, such as CG, to enhance the work's completeness. It is understood that a broadcast this year is unlikely, and they are aiming for a broadcast next year.

The general consensus in the broadcasting industry is that the delay in broadcasting, despite the participation of famous actors like Jang Ki-yong and Cha Seung-won, is unusual. Analyses suggest that complex factors such as low expected profitability relative to production costs and low potential for overseas rights sales have contributed to the difficulties in securing a broadcast slot.

'Pig Pen' is a mystery thriller that depicts the story of Jin-woo (Jang Ki-yong), who crashes on a deserted island after losing his memory, desperately trying to recover his lost memories to survive from a strange family. In addition to Jang Ki-yong, Cha Seung-won, Park Hee-soon, Noh Jeong-eui, and Kim Dae-myung appear, with Shin Ha-kyun making a special appearance.
