Kim Jaehwan's First Solo Comeback After Military Discharge in April

Kim Jaehwan, formerly of the group Wanna One, is making a comeback with a new album in April. This marks his first solo activity since completing his military service and being discharged in December of last year, and his return to solo music, excluding OSTs, in approximately two years.

According to industry insiders, the title track of this album is expected to showcase Kim Jaehwan's exceptional vocal abilities, and is described as an emotional song highlighting his solid high notes.

Kim Jaehwan's comeback is anticipated to garner public attention, coinciding with the broadcast of the Wanna One reality show 'Wanna One Go'. Wanna One is meeting with fans through 'Wanna One Go' ahead of their 10th debut anniversary in 2026. However, Kang Daniel, who is currently serving in the military, and Lai Kuanlin, who is staying in China, were unable to participate in 'Wanna One Go'.

Since his discharge, Kim Jaehwan has been actively communicating with fans by sharing song cover videos and updates on his official YouTube channel.

Wanna One was an 11-member project group formed through 'Produce 101' Season 2 in 2017, and was active with members Park Jihoon, Kang Daniel, Lee Daehwi, Kim Jaehwan, Ong Seongwu, Park Woojin, Lai Kuanlin, Yoon Jisung, Hwang Minhyun, Bae Jinyoung, and Ha Sungwoon.
