Unsung Legend Ep 11: Jang Han-byul's Hit Song

MBN's trot audition program 'Muyeong Legend' is set to intensify the competition for the final winner as the first round of the finals begins. The TOP10, who overcame 99 contestants, will showcase new songs through the '​Hit Song Mission' in the 11th episode airing on the 6th.

The finals will be conducted over two weeks across two rounds, the first and second, with a total score of 5,000 points. The final winner will be determined by combining the scores from both rounds. The first round of the finals, the 'Hit Song Mission,' will be scored out of 1,000 points, combining the evaluations from 15 top producers (40 points each) and 200 national producers (2 points each).

The contestants chose their new songs after listening only to guide tracks, without knowing the composers. Top producers such as Jo Hang-jo, Shin Yu, and Son Tae-jin, along with representative Korean composers like Wi Dae-han-hyeongje and Kim Do-il, gifted new songs to the TOP10.

The new songs chosen by each contestant are as follows:

• Jeong Yeon-ho: 'Sarang-i Gojangnat-eo' (Love is Broken), composed by Jo Hang-jo
• Lee Chang-min: Self-composed song 'Balbadak Bulna-dorok' (Until My Soles Burn), co-composed with Wi Dae-han-hyeongje
• Kim Tae-woong: 'Naknakjangsong', composed by Kim Do-il
• Lee Ru-ne: 'Jeolmeo Joketda' (It's Good to Be Young), composed by Kim Do-il
• Seong Ri: 'Oneul I Bam' (Tonight), composed by Lee Ban-seok
• Haru: 'Insaeng-ui Yeolsoe' (The Key to Life), composed by Son Tae-jin and lyrics by Lyn
• Park Min-su: Shin Yu's 'Eoyeongcha!'
• Lee Dae-hwan: 'Areumdaun Saram' (Beautiful Person)
• Jang Han-byeol: 'Geudaeneun Na-ui Byeori-o' (You Are My Star)
• Hwang Yun-seong: 'Nanri-burus' (Chaos)

In the first round of the finals, 'music streaming counts' and 'new song stage views' on the broadcast will be directly reflected in the final results. This approach aims to create a true hit song through active viewer participation, making viewer and fan support a key variable in the mission.
