Announcer Kim Dae-ho is evolving into a "pivotal figure" in broadcasting, actively continuing his career even more after leaving MBC. Two years ago, he humbly stated, "The word 'popularity' is embarrassing," but now, he has left MBC and is expanding his reach by appearing on various broadcasting stations.

Kim Dae-ho announced his departure from MBC in February 2025, stating it was the result of diligently weighing experiences that would benefit him and aid in self-objectification, rather than chasing 'money.' Even after leaving, he continues to appear on MBC's flagship entertainment shows, his former network, such as 'I Live Alone' and 'Save Me! Homez,' and maintains his loyalty by being a regular cast member on 'National No. 1' and the MBC Every1 'Great Guide' series.

While it's common for individuals to distance themselves from their previous activities after leaving a company, Kim Dae-ho is instead continuing his broadcasting activities more deeply after his departure, being utilized like an 'MBC person.' This likely wasn't an easy decision for the broadcasting station, but Kim Dae-ho has broken this mold.

In addition to MBC, he is actively appearing as a regular cast member on other broadcasting stations such as ENA's 'Where Will It Go?' and Channel A's 'Chef and Hunter,' and has even launched his own show, The Life's 'Wherever Dae-ho Goes.' He has even taken on the role of host for KBS's year-end special live broadcast, expanding his activities across terrestrial, general programming, cable, and OTT platforms. It is unusual for him to maintain the title of 'Son of MBC' while freely traversing all channels and expanding his territory.

Kim Dae-ho's success factors are attributed to his unpretentious sincerity, contrasting with his sophisticated appearance. He gains viewers' empathy by showing his unscripted, self-respecting true self, such as watering the roof of an old house, tending to a vivarium in the mountains, or eating jokbal (pig's trotters) at a market.
