Actor Byun Woo-seok proved his immense popularity by ranking first in the May 2026 advertisement model brand reputation. Singer Lim Young-woong came in second, and soccer player Son Heung-min placed third.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 48,203,029 big data points for advertisement model brands, measured from April 7 to May 7, 2026. This data was calculated into brand reputation indices, including participation, media, communication, and community indices, through consumer behavior analysis. This figure represents a 3.71% increase from the 46,480,909 data points from April.

The brand reputation index is calculated by analyzing the impact of consumers' online habits on brand consumption, measuring the relationship with advertisement model brands, positive and negative evaluations, media attention, and consumer interest and communication volume.

In addition to Byun Woo-seok, Lim Young-woong, and Son Heung-min, the top 30 advertisement model brands for May 2026 included Park Ji-hoon, BTS, Ive, Blackpink, Yoo Jae-suk, Kim Yuna, Lee Jung-hoo, Go Youn-jung, Kim Hye-yoon, Lee Jung-jae, Ma Dong-seok, and Gong Yoo.

Byun Woo-seok achieved a total brand reputation index of 3,762,141, with a participation index of 479,722, media index of 534,241, communication index of 1,386,782, and community index of 1,361,396. This marks a 356.40% surge compared to his score of 824,311 in April.
