Dr. Brain Episode 9: Shin Ha-kyun's Engagement Called Off

In the ninth episode of TV CHOSUN's weekend mini-series 'Doctor Shin,' Shin Joo-shin (played by Jung Yi-chan) decided to break off his engagement with Mo-mo (played by Baek Seo-ra), who had the brain of Kim Jin-ju. After Mo-mo acted recklessly following her miscarriage, Shin Joo-shin announced the broken engagement. Subsequently, Mo-mo began seducing Ha Yong-joong (played by Ahn Woo-yeon) out of revenge against Geum Ba-ra (played by Joo Se-bin). During this time, the viewership rating recorded 1.2%.

Ha Yong-joong's confession by the sea was revealed to be Geum Ba-ra's imagination. Geum Ba-ra had hoped for Ha Yong-joong's words, but he disappointed her by replying, "You are truly my number one." You'll know that humiliation," and pleaded with Ha Yong-joong for help, making Geum Ba-ra anxious. Mo-mo provoked Geum Ba-ra, saying, "Are you worried? That I might get more attention?" fueling her revenge.

At the same time, Shin Joo-shin drank alone, recalling the pleasant conversations he had with Geum Ba-ra. He remembered asking Geum Ba-ra about Mo-mo's condition and Kim Jin-ju's true nature, and the time he received congratulations from Geum Ba-ra for the dream about his son. Returning to reality, Shin Joo-shin threw his glass and erupted in anger towards Kim Jin-ju, saying, "I made a Cinderella out of something less than a mere creature. And she couldn't even carry one child properly!"

When Shin Joo-shin blamed Mo-mo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) for her miscarriage due to careless swimming, Mo-mo retorted, "You don't like me, do you? You regret doing the surgery, don't you?" When Shin Joo-shin suggested having another child, Mo-mo insisted on breaking off the engagement, saying, "Let's just break off the engagement and end it. I don't want to live getting hit."
