Lee Min Jung's Gyaru Makeup Transformation

Actress Lee Min-jung revealed a video on her YouTube channel showcasing a dramatic transformation into a "Gongju Gyaru" style. In the video, Lee Min-jung visited beauty creator Cine to try out the local Gyaru makeup. Before the makeup, Lee Min-jung expressed her concern, saying, "I've never worn heavy makeup before," to which Cine humorously replied, "Pretty people say that," eliciting laughter.

During the makeup process, Lee Min-jung's distinct features were further emphasized. Beauty creator Cine marveled at Lee Min-jung's high nose bridge, remarking, "Doesn't she look like a sculpture when you're doing art?" When the production team reportedly considered toning down the style they had initially proposed, Lee Min-jung showed an enthusiastic attitude, stating, "If we're going to do it, we should do it properly. If it's ambiguous, people won't know if it's Gyaru or not."

Midway through the makeup session, Lee Min-jung mentioned plans for a double date with her husband, Lee Byung-hun, for samgyeopsal. Cine expressed concern, saying, "Is this really going to work? I think you picked the wrong date," but Lee Min-jung replied, "They're comfortable people, so it's fine," while also realistically adding, "It's not that they won't be comfortable, it's that I won't be comfortable."

After completing her transformation with a blonde wig and flashy accessories, Lee Min-jung ultimately changed her plan from a samgyeopsal outing to eating cup ramen at a convenience store. She expressed her satisfaction with having new experiences through YouTube, saying, "I experienced something I could never have experienced before." At the end of the filming, she playfully addressed a surprised passerby, saying, "You must be surprised," and concluded the video.
