BTS Jungkook Apologizes for Swearing on Live Stream

Jungkook of BTS apologizes to fans for recent live broadcast behavior. Jungkook began by saying on the fan communication platform Weverse, "I need to apologize to ARMY (fandom name)." He added, "Honestly, I don't really know if I did anything significantly wrong in my recent live broadcast. I'm not a public figure, and these are things people working in YouTube and this industry say."

However, Jungkook stated, "Since I haven't shown that side of myself before, I thought ARMY might have felt uncomfortable. I want to apologize to ARMY who felt uncomfortable because of that, and I will refrain (from doing so in the future)." Regarding some criticism, he said, "I don't have much to say to people who are just busy criticizing everything. If I get sued, it's not my problem, but thank you for your interest."

Jungkook reiterated his apology, saying, "I was in such a good mood that day because of the comeback. Anyway, I'm sorry to our ARMY who felt uncomfortable." He added, "I don't know where I'll go next. I won't commit any crimes or do anything truly bad, but as a human, I can sometimes be like that. If you find it uncomfortable or wrong, please point it out. I will accept it after seeing it."

Previously, on February 26th, Jungkook became embroiled in controversy during a personal live broadcast for using unrefined expressions, profanity, slang, expressing dissatisfaction with his agency, and using profanity and the middle finger towards an acquaintance. At the time, he responded to fans' suggestions to end the broadcast by saying, "Don't tell me what to do." The video has since been deleted.

Meanwhile, BTS, the group Jungkook belongs to, released their fifth full-length album 'Arirang' on the 20th of last month and is currently promoting their title track 'Swim'. They will embark on a new world tour starting on the 9th.
