Yoon Sungbin's Show "Ggomu" Returns to Air

SBS's current affairs program 'The Story of a Thousand Cuts' (hereafter 'Kkokkomu') will shed light on the devastating situation and survivors' stories during the 'Gyeongbuk Wildfire', the worst large-scale wildfire in South Korean history, through its episode '2025 Red Monster'. Skeleton former national athlete Yun Sung-bin will appear as a 'listener' in this episode.

This broadcast will cover the full story of the 'Gyeongbuk Wildfire' that swept through Gyeongbuk regions such as Uiseong, Andong, Cheongsong, Yeongyang, and Yeongdeok last March. The wildfire burned forests and villages equivalent to 1.6 times the area of Seoul, and countless people suffered the tragedy of losing their homes and families.

A fisherman who witnessed the scene recalled the situation at the time, saying, "It would be accurate to describe it as hell," and Jang Sung-kyu, who watched related footage, commented, "This is what they call hellfire." Testimonies from wildfire watchmen and firefighters are also scheduled to follow. Younghoon of the group The Boyz, after hearing the story, expressed his sorrow, saying, "I feel like I would live the rest of my life wanting to cry."

'Kkokkomu' is a program where three storytellers study a specific event on their own and convey their feelings to their respective 'listeners'. In this episode, along with Yun Sung-bin, actress Kim Yu-mi and Younghoon of the group The Boyz will join as listeners. The broadcast will air on the 9th at 10:20 PM.
