Lee Yong-sik's First Granddaughter's Birthday Party

The first birthday party for Won Iel, granddaughter of comedian Lee Yong-sik and daughter of singer Won Hyuk and Lee Su-min, was successfully held on the 9th at a hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, with approximately 100 guests in attendance.

The birthday party was graced by the presence of both paternal and maternal family members, as well as veteran comedians from the first generation, and many entertainment figures including Seo Kyung-seok, Park Seul-gi, Im Ha-ryong, Yoon Taek, and Seon Woo-yong-yeo. Park Soo-hong emceed the event, leading the atmosphere with his characteristic cheerful wit.

Upon celebrating his granddaughter's first birthday, Lee Yong-sik expressed his overwhelming emotions, stating, "This is the first time I've felt such trembling in my 50 years since debuting in the entertainment industry." He thanked the guests and elicited laughter with a joke, saying, "​If you just mention those buildings over there, I'll change the registration immediately."

Singer Won Hyuk became emotional while expressing his sincere feelings for his family, tearing up and saying, "Thank you to Su-min for carrying and raising our child well." Lee Su-min expressed her affection to her husband Won Hyuk, saying, "​I am grateful to both sets of parents, and thank you to my husband for handling my sensitive emotions well over the past year."

Won Hyuk expressed his special gratitude to Park Soo-hong, who was the emcee, saying, "Hyung Soo-hong is the one who gave me strength and support on 'Joseon's Lover'." In response, Park Soo-hong quipped, "This is what happens when you live a good life," and added, "I own about 10% of Iel's shares," playfully cheering on the couple.
