Lim Ji Yeon SBS 'Wonderful World' K-Drama

In SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "Wonderful New World," actress Lim Ji-yeon is set to showcase the essence of comedic acting. The drama is heightening anticipation through a special pre-release video. The released video depicts Shin Seo-ri (played by Lim Ji-yeon), a "Joseon villainess," rapidly acquiring 300 years of history to survive in 2026 Korea.

In the video, Shin Seo-ri begins to bridge the 300-year time gap using a mobile phone. She bursts into tears while learning about the common people during the Imjin War and unleashes a "soda-like" venomous remark towards the Eulsa Five Traitors, saying, "You traitors who deserve to be executed! You should be torn limb from limb and killed!" Furthermore, she evokes laughter by appearing as historical figures, from Shin Seo-ri shouting "Long live Korean independence!" to Shin Seo-ri as a Red Devil cheering "Dae~han Minguk!"

In particular, Shin Seo-ri's appearance, shouting in her Joseon villainess dialect, "Hey you! Listen up! Everyone come out!" and knocking on a door, then exclaiming, "Have you seen the miracle of the Red Devils? We're in the top 4! We're in the top 4!" while celebrating Korea's advancement to the World Cup semifinals over 20 years ago, induces great laughter.
