Actors Park Seo-joon, Jung Yu-mi, and Choi Woo-shik have joined '​Namwon Nuri Citizen,' a resident population registration system in Namwon City, Jeollabuk-do. Their enrollment process was broadcast on the tvN entertainment program '​Youth Over Flowers: Limited Edition.'

On the show, the three actors learned about the Namwon Nuri Citizen system before visiting Gwanghallu Garden, a representative tourist attraction in Namwon. They accessed the Namwon City website and completed the registration process themselves. Using the Nuri Citizen card issued upon registration, they gained free admission to Gwanghallu Garden. The actors also showed great interest in benefits such as discounts at restaurants and accommodations, in addition to free admission.

Namwon Nuri Citizen refers to residents living outside Namwon City who have registered as part of the city's resident population. They can receive various discount benefits when using private affiliated stores, such as restaurants and accommodations, as well as public facilities. This system was introduced by Namwon City in 2023 to revitalize the local economy and is currently approaching 200,000 registered members. The name 'Nuri Citizen' signifies 'enjoying the various benefits of Namwon.'

With the Namwon Nuri Citizen system being introduced nationwide through this broadcast, it is expected that the number of members will increase even more rapidly. A Namwon City official mentioned that interest is growing as the broadcast showed famous actors directly using the system. They also revealed plans to attract more Nuri Citizens by expanding affiliated stores and benefits, as well as increasing attractions and entertainment options. Furthermore, they plan to actively promote the 'Half-Price Travel' policy, which supports accommodation, food, and experience costs, while also expanding affiliated stores, which currently number 89.
