Ayane Clarifies Kindergarten Controversy

Singer and musical actor Lee Ji-hoon's wife, Ayane, is working to clear up misunderstandings regarding the recent "daycare center targeting controversy."

On the 10th, Ayane announced on her social media that she had contacted the daycare center and resolved the misunderstanding. She explained that the daycare center occasionally gave children vitamin candies when they were fussy, and the misunderstanding arose due to a lack of prior explanation.

Ayane emphasized that she had no intention of criticizing or pointing fingers at the daycare center. She was simply surprised because she didn't know her child might receive candy at the daycare, and she did not view the act of giving candy negatively. She also added that she never requested special treatment for her child.

Previously, on the 7th, Ayane posted on her social media that she was "a little shocked" to find candy in her daughter Ruhee's daycare bag. At the time, she mentioned that her child was "​on a salt-free diet" and expressed her bewilderment at learning her child could eat candy.

After this post was made public, some netizens criticized Ayane's reaction as excessive, with comments such as "being overly sensitive" and "​you should consider the daycare teachers' perspective."
