True Beauty Cast & Webtoon Drama

The production presentation for Netflix's new series, "True Education," was held on the morning of the 5th at the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. Director Hong Jong-chan and actors Kim Mu-yeol, Lee Sung-min, Jin Ki-joo, and Pyo Ji-hoon attended the event.

"True Education" is based on a webtoon of the same name, which was previously embroiled in controversies regarding gender and racial discrimination, leading to its service being suspended on North American platforms.

Despite the controversy surrounding the original webtoon, Director Hong Jong-chan stated regarding the Netflix series "True Education," "I fully understand the concerns about the original work," and "​The production team made great efforts to create a good story with a refined perspective and caution."

"True Education" is a drama that depicts the exhilarating and refreshing story of the Department of Teacher Authority Protection, established to protect the educational field that has collapsed due to students, teachers, and parents who cross the line. It is scheduled to be released at 5 PM today.
