K-Drama Actress Kwak Sun Young Transforms into Cold Reporter

Actress Kwak Sun-young is making her presence felt in the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Scarecrow' as reporter Seo Ji-won. 'Scarecrow' is a story about a detective investigating a serial murder case who unexpectedly forms a partnership with someone he despises, leading to unforeseen events. Kwak Sun-young plays Seo Ji-won, a reporter for Kangsung Ilbo and an elementary school classmate of Kang Tae-joo (played by Park Hae-soo). She is adding tension to the drama by simultaneously portraying a reporter with a strong sense of duty and upright beliefs, and a reliable supporter of her long-time friend Tae-joo.

To portray her righteous and bold reporter character, Kwak Sun-young utilized her distinctive cool yet gentle charisma through her voice, pronunciation, and dialogue tone. Furthermore, she enhanced the character's completeness by incorporating rich hairstyles, outfits, and props reminiscent of the 1980s, the era in which the drama is set.
