The final performance of the late Song Young-kyu has been revealed through the Netflix series 'The Bequeathed'. He passed away last August, and 'The Bequeathed' remains his posthumous work. The series, centered around the Office for the Protection of Teachers' Rights, established to rectify issues in the education field, ranked first among domestic series after its release.

Song Young-kyu played the role of Ryu Gwang-pil, a member of the National Assembly from the ruling Happy Hope Party and a strong presidential candidate. Ryu Gwang-pil is a character who attempts to cover up his son's school violence issues with his power, and he heightened the tension of the scenes by simultaneously revealing the arrogance of a person in power and the anxiety of someone cornered.
