As the controversy continued, Sana directly addressed the situation through the fan communication platform Bubble. Sana explained, "When I was fitting, I wore it so the middle wouldn't open, but I was flustered when entering and didn't look in the mirror, so I only realized it was open when I entered the dressing room and saw the photos." She also honestly shared her feelings, saying, "​I was already upset that I couldn't go out like I did during the fitting, and now I'm even more upset with all the talk."
