Kim Yoon-seol, 27, Passes Away

Singer Kim Yun-seol has passed away at the age of 27. Following the funeral procession held on the 9th, she was laid to rest at Seongnam Yeongsaengwon. The encoffining ceremony took place on the 8th. News of her passing was shared by an acquaintance, who posted on social media, "Seol has gone to heaven," explaining they couldn't announce it directly as her phone and everything else were locked.

Kim Yun-seol debuted in 2013 with the single 'Man and Woman 2013.' She continued her music career by appearing on shows such as 'The Voice of Korea 2020' and 'I Can See Your Voice 7.' Last year, she appeared as contestant number 6 on JTBC's '​Sing Again 4,' returning to the public eye.

After passing the first round of 'Sing Again 4' and making her voice known, Kim Yun-seol posted on social media, "Thank you, I will continue to make music without giving up!!" reaffirming her commitment to music.

Her last post also conveyed her sincerity towards music. On the 23rd of last month, she wrote on social media, "I am now singing again under my own name," and "I hope that wherever my songs reach, a small happiness also reaches." Though her life was short, Kim Yun-seol never let go of her music until the end. Her wish to stand on stage again under her own name remains in her final message, leaving many with heavy hearts.
