Jung Yi Chan Brain Transplant Shock Ending

TV Chosun's weekend drama 'Doctor Shin' concluded with a shocking ending where Shin Joo-shin (played by Jung Yi-chan) died. The 16th episode left a strong impression on viewers with the deaths of major characters, intertwined fates, and an unpredictable conclusion. Writer Im Sung-han depicted human madness and desire through the unconventional subject of "brain transplant surgery," unfolding an unpredictable narrative until the very end.

Kim Jin-joo (played by Chun Young-min), who underwent the brain transplant surgery, died in the appearance of Geum Ba-ra (played by Joo Se-bin). Upon hearing the news, Ha Yong-joong (played by Ahn Woo-yeon) believed the deceased was the real Geum Ba-ra and wept at the funeral. Beside him was Mo-mo (played by Baek Seo-ra), who possessed the brain of the real Geum Ba-ra, but she did not reveal her identity. When asked by Shin Joo-shin when he would reveal the truth, Mo-mo showed a resigned attitude, saying, "It's not natural. I don't want to force emotions."

At the funeral, there was a supernatural scene where the real Kim Jin-joo, who lost her life, appeared as a ghost without legs. The ghost of Kim Jin-joo made eye contact with a child and smiled. Despite a monk's gentle urging to let go of worldly attachments, she stuck out her tongue and made a mocking gesture, horrifying viewers.

Paul Kim (played by Ji Young-san), who returned from overseas, learned through Geum Ba-ra's letter that Geum Ba-ra had asked him to consider her his second daughter and to hear the full story from Mo-mo. Paul Kim visited Mo-mo and confirmed for the first time the existence of the son Geum Ba-ra had given birth to.

Kim Jin-joo's biological father, Kim Kwang-chul (played by Cha Kwang-soo), learned through James (played by Jeon No-min) that Shin Joo-shin had caused his daughter's death while performing the brain transplant surgery. Enraged, Kim Kwang-chul broke into Shin Joo-shin's house and stabbed him with a weapon. Shin Joo-shin sustained a fatal injury and collapsed during this struggle, and Kim Kwang-chul also died after a fierce fight with the nurses who rushed to the scene. The next day, when the police discovered the scene, Shin Joo-shin's body was found lying neatly in bed, having been dressed in different clothes. With the deaths of the two nurses who knew the full story, Shin Joo-shin's death became a mystery.
