BTS Arirang: World Tour Ignites

The group BTS is maintaining their position at the top of global music charts for six consecutive weeks with their album 'Arirang,' released last month, as part of their world tour 'Arirang.' The album ranked second on Spotify's 'Weekly Top Albums Global' chart, and the title track 'SWIM' took second place on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart. All 14 tracks on the album have charted for six weeks, demonstrating their immense popularity. 'SWIM' also remained in the 'Top 3' on the 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart for 42 consecutive days.

On the UK Official Charts, 'Arirang' has remained on the charts for six weeks since its release, reaching 17th place on the 'Official Albums Top 100.' The title track 'SWIM' ranked 41st on the 'Official Singles Top 100' and showed strength in various sub-charts, including 'Official Singles Downloads,' 'Official Singles Sales,' and 'Official Album Streaming.' Notably, 'Arirang' climbed 8 spots to 12th place on the 'Official Physical Albums' chart compared to the previous week, and re-entered the 'Official Vinyl Albums' chart at 18th place, continuing its popularity.

In Australia and France, 'Arirang' has maintained its position within the top 10 for six weeks, ranking 7th on Australia's ARIA 'Top 50 Albums' and 9th on France's SNEP 'Top Albums.' Furthermore, the album received a 'Gold' certification in Italy for selling over 25,000 copies and a 'Gold' certification in Spain for selling over 20,000 units. In France, it achieved 'Platinum' certification for approximately 100,000 sales, combining physical album sales, downloads, and streaming equivalents.

On Japan's Oricon chart, 'Arirang' reclaimed the number one spot on the 'Weekly Digital Album Ranking' after five weeks and has stayed in the 'Top 5' for six consecutive weeks. The 2017 song 'Crystal Snow' ranked first on the 'Weekly Streaming Surge Ranking,' and 'MIC Drop' also reached 8th place. This is analyzed as an effect of their concert at the Tokyo Dome last month, and the new album's track '2.0' ranked 10th on the 'Weekly Streaming Ranking.'

Following the launch of their world tour 'Arirang' at the Goyang Stadium last month, BTS is currently touring North America after visiting Japan. They began their 'BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN NORTH AMERICA' on May 25th in Tampa, USA, and are scheduled to perform at the El Paso Sun Bowl Stadium on June 2nd and 3rd.
