Big Naughty Drops Diss Track Response to Swings

Rapper Big Naughty released a diss track titled 'INDUSTRY KNOWS' accusing rapper Swings of assault and allegations of selling off rights. Swings has responded, stating that the claims are untrue. Big Naughty claims the conflict began in 2019 when he rejected an offer to join Swings' label, WDP (We Don't Play). He also alleged that two years ago at a club, Swings, while intoxicated, pushed and threatened him. Furthermore, Big Naughty claimed Swings sold neighboring rights of artists without their consent to purchase a luxury vehicle.

Swings refuted Big Naughty's claims during an SNS live broadcast. He admitted to attempting to recruit Big Naughty to WDP, but Big Naughty signed with another label just before the contract was finalized. Regarding the club incident, Swings emphasized that Big Naughty was the one who first pushed him while intoxicated, and that the entire situation was captured on CCTV. Concerning the sale of neighboring rights, Swings explained that it was indeed sold due to the company's financial difficulties, but it was done after discussions with the artists, and the profits were shared equally. Swings asserted that Big Naughty was distorting the facts and added that while he was upset by the incident, he did not pursue it further.

Giriboy shared his perspective on the neighboring rights sale situation via his SNS. He stated that when his career and settlement details, accumulated over more than 10 years at Swings' label Just Music, became subject to the neighboring rights sale, he opposed the sale during two rounds of discussions and even sought legal advice, but ultimately had to accept the situation as unavoidable. Giriboy admitted he disliked Swings at the time but, with the passage of time and experience, came to understand Swings' circumstances to some extent. However, he expressed disappointment, feeling that Swings might have thought he was being compensated with money and therefore shouldn't complain, rather than feeling apologetic.

Following Big Naughty's diss track release, Swings addressed the situation again in a live broadcast. He accused Big Naughty of slandering him after failing to sign him, and regarding the sale of neighboring rights, he explained it was an unavoidable decision due to the company's financial struggles, and the music was sold to secure the artists' income. He also stressed that regarding the assault allegations, Big Naughty initiated the aggression, which is clearly recorded on CCTV. Swings revealed text messages exchanged with Big Naughty last year, expressing his confusion and frustration as to why Big Naughty would repeat these actions when he believed the matter was settled. He concluded by saying to Big Naughty, "Aren't you being too hard on me?" and expressed his inability to understand the reason for distorting the facts to this extent.
