Ryu Seung-bum Exits, Jeon Hye-jin New Villain

The script reading for Coupang Play's series 'Family Plan' Season 2 has been revealed. Actor Ryu Seung-bum has departed from Season 2, and Jeon Hye-jin joins as a new villain.

'Family Plan' Season 2 depicts the story of the Yeong-su family, who come to a new city hiding their past, as they complete a hellish revenge to protect each other from a larger evil force.

Director Kim Jung-min, who is in charge of directing and writing, and the main cast from Season 1, Bae Doona, Baek Yoon-sik, Loomon, and Lee Su-hyun, attended the script reading. They showcased the solid chemistry they've built since Season 1, and with the addition of the newly joined actors, the reading proceeded with intense energy.

The box office stars of Season 1, Bae Doona (as Han Yeong-su), Baek Yoon-sik (as Baek Kang-seong), Loomon (as Baek Ji-hoon), and Lee Su-hyun (as Baek Ji-woo), reunite as the 'family' to anchor the story. Park Byung-eun joins as the uncle 'Baek Cheol-yong,' who will become a new turning point for the Yeong-su family, adding to the tension.

The new villain lineup that will make Season 2 even stronger includes a large number of acclaimed actors such as Park Ho-san, Jeon Hye-jin, Kang Ki-young, Baek Joo-hee, Shin Sung-min, and Lee Joong-ok. They will play a group of villains who build a system of 'great evil' expanded beyond comparison to the previous season, pressuring the Yeong-su family.
