Day6 Young K First Guest on Choi Woo-shik Show

DAY6 member Young K will appear as the first guest on an extended episode of MBC's variety show 'Choi Woo San'. Young K is scheduled to make a surprise appearance on the 6th episode of 'Choi Woo San', which is set to air on the 28th.

As the first guest on the extended run of 'Choi Woo San', Young K is expected to showcase his presence. It is said that he displayed his energetic variety skills alongside 'Choi Woo San' members Yoo Se Yoon, Jang Dong Min, Boom, Yang Se Hyung, and Heo Kyung Hwan.

With Young K having previously hosted KBS CoolFM's 'Kiss the Radio' for several years and been a regular cast member on tvN's 'Nolto', curiosity is mounting about what he will show on 'Choi Woo San'.

'Choi Woo San' is Korea's first extreme survival mountain variety program where cast members challenge the summit through various missions set in the mountains. The current cast includes Yoo Se Yoon, winner of the '2025 MBC Entertainment Awards' for Best Male Entertainer, along with nominees for the same award Jang Dong Min, Boom, Yang Se Hyung, and the "catfish" Heo Kyung Hwan.

Originally planned for 5 episodes, 'Choi Woo San' completed its pilot broadcast from May 3rd to May 31st. Having quickly secured a dedicated fanbase within its short run, an extension of 7 episodes has been confirmed. The show will air from the 6th episode on the 28th until the 12th episode on August 9th.
