Gong Seung Yeon, Byun Woo Seok Confess Major Sins

In the 11th episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'The Grand Prince', Grand Princess Yoon I-rang (played by Gong Seung-yeon) confessed to Grand Prince Lee An (played by Byun Woo-seok), "My father, Yoon Sung-won, is trying to kill you," and knelt before him.

The broadcast showed Grand Prince Lee An, who narrowly survived a fire in the royal chambers, regaining consciousness and expressing his intention to return to his duties. Yoon Sung-won, Yoon I-rang's father, argued that Grand Prince Lee An and Seong Hee-ju's duties should be suspended, urging them to halt their work under the guise of safety. Having made up her mind, Yoon I-rang visited Grand Prince Lee An and revealed the shocking truth: "My father is trying to kill you." She also stated that she had the evidence regarding the wedding incident and had taken in a child who worked at the Grand Prince's residence, promising their testimony. She confessed that Yoon Sung-won was likely responsible for the fire in the royal chambers, to which Grand Prince Lee An asked if she was begging him to forgive her father.

Yoon I-rang asked to be punished along with her father. Grand Prince Lee An retorted, asking if she could punish him and why she feared him only now. Yoon I-rang pleaded with tears, "I have a duty to protect the royal family. Is that why I am protecting you? So that my father and my greed can no longer harm you and this royal family. So please, just protect the King." Grand Prince Lee An asked if it was enough to protect only the King, even if it meant remaining an eternal sinner in the royal family and history. Yoon I-rang tearfully replied that it was enough.

Grand Prince Lee An was also shocked to learn that Min Jeong-woo (played by Noh Sang-hyun), whom he trusted, had concealed Yoon Sung-won's crimes despite knowing about them. Yoon Sung-won was arrested, and Min Jeong-woo's confrontation with both Grand Prince Lee An and Seong Hee-ju heightened the tension. The broadcast concluded with Grand Prince Lee An ascending the throne, amplifying anticipation for the final episode.
