K-Drama Star Go Youn Jung Wins ASEA 2026 Best Character Award

Actress Go Youn-jung received the Best Character award at ‘ASEA 2026’. The awards ceremony was the ‘3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘ASEA 2026’), held on the afternoon of May 16th at the Verna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.

Since her debut in the 2019 tvN drama ‘He Is Psychometric’, Go Youn-jung has showcased a powerful presence in numerous productions, including the Netflix series ‘Sweet Home’, JTBC’s ‘Law School’, tvN’s ‘Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow’, Disney+ original ‘Moving’, and tvN’s ‘A Resentful Doctor’. She is currently receiving love from viewers through the Netflix series ‘Can This Love Be Translated?’, released in January, and the currently airing JTBC drama ‘Everyone is Fighting Their Own Worthlessness’.

Based on these achievements, Go Youn-jung was awarded in the ‘ASEA THE BEST CHARACTER’ Female Actor category. In her acceptance speech, Go Youn-jung said, "I am grateful just to be invited to such a grand awards ceremony, and I am thankful for this special award." She continued, "I remember coming to Japan two years ago to film ‘Can This Love Be Translated?’, and it feels like a very meaningful moment. I believe this award is a sign to work even harder in the future. I sincerely thank the staff, directors, and fellow actors who always support me. I will work hard."

‘ASEA 2026’ is an awards ceremony hosted by the Korean entertainment and sports media outlet NEWSEN and the star & style magazine @style, and organized by the ASEA Organizing Committee. NEWSEN celebrates its 21st anniversary this year, and @style marks its 14th anniversary.
