Comedian Jang Mi-hwa has lost her father, and her entertainment industry colleagues are visiting the wake to offer their condolences.

Jang Mi-hwa's father, the late Jang Sang-deok, passed away on the 5th. The wake has been set up in Room 203 of the Konkuk University Hospital Funeral Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Jang Mi-hwa is staying at the wake with her family, receiving mourners.

Fellow comedians, including Kim Hak-rae, president of the Korea Broadcasting Comedians Association, Yoo Jae-suk, Kwon Young-chan, Lee Yong-sik, Yoon Sung-ho, Go Myung-hwan, and Choi Hong-lim, visited the wake to pay their respects and sent wreaths to express their condolences.
Jang Mi-hwa debuted in the broadcasting industry in 1992 after winning the grand prize at the KBS 'University Gag Festival'. She later gained recognition by winning the Best Actress award at the KBS 'Comedy Awards'. She has appeared on various programs such as 'Humor No. 1', 'A Burst of Laughter', 'Family Entertainment', and 'TV Show Collection of Treasures'.
