Lee Man-gi's Eldest Son Welcomes Triplets
Lee Man-gi, a former ssireum (Korean wrestling) athlete and broadcaster, revealed that he has become a grandfather to triplets. Appearing on the KBS1 cultural program 'Achim Madang' on the 5th, Lee Man-gi shared the happy news that his eldest son recently welcomed a baby, making him a grandfather.
Lee Man-gi explained that the first grandchild is a son named Geon-yul, and the second and third are daughters named Da-yul and So-yul. In other words, he now has one grandson and two granddaughters.
While stating, "It's a joyous occasion," Lee Man-gi also joked, "Now that they're born, I wonder how we'll raise them. Isn't it hard enough to raise one child these days?" Seeing his eldest son's shoulders slump, he added, "Raise one mother, one daughter-in-law, and Dong-hoon (his second son)."
Furthermore, Lee Man-gi expressed both anticipation and concern, saying, "They say people become doting grandparents when grandchildren are born. I've raised sons, but I imagine grandchildren will be different. It feels a bit awkward to get too close."
He shared that although the triplets were born healthy, they will need to remain in the hospital for about another month. He added that he likely won't be able to hold them himself until early June.
