NewJeans Minji Comeback Rumors Surface

NewJeans member Minji's recent activities have been shared through online communities. To celebrate her birthday on the 7th, Minji personally delivered homemade cookies and handwritten letters to birthday cafes organized by fans. Her letter expressed longing for her fans, saying, "It's been a really long time. Is everyone doing well?" She added, "Bunny-z must be curious about what I'm up to, right?? Waiting for the day we can talk for over four hours. Thank you for celebrating my birthday!! See you again ♡." Along with the letter, instant photos Minji took herself for her fans were also released.

Meanwhile, ADOR declared the termination of contracts with NewJeans in November 2024, citing reasons such as breach of obligations. Subsequently, members Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni announced their return, but Danielle was informed of her contract termination, and Minji is reportedly in discussions regarding her return.

Minji personally visited approximately four birthday cafes prepared by fans and delivered handwritten letters, instant photos, and homemade cookies. She visited before opening hours and left gifts in bags hung on the cafe doorknobs to convey her feelings. Her handwritten letter expressed gratitude to her fans, stating, "It's May. A season where it feels like anything you imagine will come true. I heard many Bunny-z are gathering to celebrate my birthday this year. So, I baked some cookies too." The opportunity will surely come," and "Waiting for the day we can talk for over four hours."

Minji personally baked about 500 cookies and hinted at receiving help from member Hanni through the "helper" notation on the cookie packaging. In the released photos, Minji showcased her unchanging visuals, pulling off various styles.

While the return of NewJeans members Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni to ADOR was confirmed in December of last year, Minji is continuing discussions with ADOR regarding her return. Member Danielle's contract has been terminated due to reasons such as violation of exclusive contract terms, and ADOR is reportedly seeking damages in the tens of billions of won. Recently, ADOR's legal team resigned entirely, making the future direction of the legal battle uncertain.
