The 8th episode, aired on the 2nd, recorded viewership ratings of 11.6% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 11.2% nationwide, setting a new personal best for viewership ratings in the Seoul metropolitan area. Furthermore, in the 2054 viewership demographic, it ranked first not only in its time slot but also among all programs on Saturday, receiving love from all age groups.

The popularity of ‘A Prince of the 21st Century’ is also heating up in the global market. According to FlixPatrol, the drama has consistently maintained a high ranking, securing 4th place globally and 1st place in the non-English category for TOP 10 TV Shows on Disney+. It has topped the charts in 16 countries and regions, including South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Brazil, and has made it into the TOP 10 in a total of 47 countries and regions, including the UK, the US, and Canada.
