The tvN entertainment program 'Gugidong Friends' proved its popularity by recording the No. 1 viewership rating in its time slot. The second episode recorded an average viewership rating of 3.1% and a peak of 4.0% based on the Seoul metropolitan area, and notably, it ranked No. 1 among all channels, including terrestrial broadcasters, in the same time slot for the 2049 demographic viewership rating.

During the broadcast, the cast members revealed their thoughts on the possibility of living together for a year. While Kyung Soo-jin gave a positive answer, Jang Do-yeon expressed the opinion that it would be best to end it now to maintain good memories.
