Top Stars' Final Ticket Battle

In the ninth episode of MBC's audition program 'The Top Ones,' singers will engage in fierce competition for the last remaining ticket to the 'Final Showdown.' As elimination today means immediate departure from the program, the contestants will take the stage with a determined resolve.

This round will proceed with a cumulative voting system, combining scores from the first and second rounds. While Son Seung-yeon secured the top spot in the first round, gaining an advantageous position, the addition of 100 new judges, bringing the total to 401, has introduced a variable that could overturn the results in the second round.

Kim Ki-tae, who finished in the upper ranks with only an 18-vote difference from the first-place finisher Son Seung-yeon, expressed his regret over not taking the top spot and showed strong determination. He stated, "It's maddening to have been first and then fall back down," adding, "It's been a long time since I've felt such an earnest desire to sing."

Ahn Sung-hoon, known as the 'Master of Comebacks,' hinted at a miraculous repeat of his past audition experiences. He raised expectations by saying, "Back then, I had never been first in any round until the very end when I made a comeback." Park Ji-min and Lee Ye-ji also expressed their resolve to "make a comeback."
