Lim Young Woong Fans Serve Samgyetang

Singer Lim Young-woong's fan club, 'Hero Generation Hongcheon Branch', conducted a samgyetang sharing volunteer activity to mark Parents' Day, spreading warmth to the local community. This volunteer activity marked its 24th occurrence.

Members of 'Hero Generation Hongcheon Branch' visited the Oesampo Senior Center in Hwacheon-myeon, Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon Province, and served samgyetang and refreshments to 75 local seniors. Additionally, members personally delivered hand-knitted scrubbers and photos of Lim Young-woong, and spent an enjoyable time singing Lim Young-woong's hit song 'My Love Like a Star' together.

'Hero Generation Hongcheon Branch', composed of a total of 38 members, has been continuously engaged in sharing activities since 2022. Starting with the donation of 20 blankets to the Hongcheon Senior Welfare Center, they have carried out community contribution activities by providing practical assistance in various fields, including donations of daily necessities such as bottled water and soy sauce, scholarships to elementary, middle, and high school students in Hongcheon, support for jumpers for students from disadvantaged families, providing refreshments at year-end daycare centers, and donations to social cooperatives and associations for the intellectually disabled.

A representative from 'Hero Generation Hongcheon Branch' stated, "We aim to practice good influence by working with the local community, inheriting Lim Young-woong's sincere heart", and added, "​We will continue to join forces with fans in the Hongcheon region to contribute to creating a healthy and happy time for everyone."

Meanwhile, in a poll conducted by Ten Asia titled 'Trot Singer Who Parents Will Like the Most for Family Month', Lim Young-woong took first place. This is believed to be influenced by Lim Young-woong's consistent popularity and the active good deeds of his fan club.
