Park Jeong-min, Go Hyun-jung Cast in 'Target'

Actors Park Jeong-min and Ko Hyun-jung will star together in director Byun Young-joo's new film, '​Your Target'. Director Byun Young-joo announced the casting of Park Jeong-min, Kwon Hae-hyo, and Park Hae-joon through her YouTube channel, also confirming Ko Hyun-jung's participation.

This project marks the reunion of director Byun Young-joo and Ko Hyun-jung, who previously worked together on the drama 'Pray for the Dead', showcasing their strong bond. Park Jeong-min is set to lead the film as the protagonist of 'Your Target', and the director and actor were recently spotted together.

The film 'Your Target' is based on the Naver webtoon of the same name, which was serialized from 2019 to 2021. It tells the story of an individual who is released after serving 17 years in prison, falsely accused of murder. While a revenge thriller, it focuses on the characters involved in the revenge and private sanctions.

The original webtoon received critical acclaim from readers for its profound narrative, and many fans had hoped for a live-action adaptation. News of director Byun Young-joo preparing for a film adaptation emerged last year, garnering significant attention, and satisfaction with the final casting is expected to be high.

With the main cast finalized, 'Your Target' is aiming for a crank-in in the first half of 2027 and is currently proceeding with subsequent tasks such as investment, distribution, and pre-production.
