G-Dragon & Son Heung-min Meet in LA

G-Dragon and Daesung of the group BIGBANG visited Los Angeles, USA, to watch a soccer match featuring Son Heung-min. In this game, Son Heung-min recorded his first career four assists, leading his team to a dominant 6-0 victory. G-Dragon posted photos of his daily life in LA on his social media, which included attending an LA Dodgers game, participating in the LACMA Gala, and preparing for his Coachella performance. Notably, he attracted attention by sharing a proof shot in suits with Son Heung-min from the gala event. G-Dragon sported a pink suit, while Son Heung-min showcased his style in a black suit.

Previously, G-Dragon and Daesung had also attended and taken photos at a match of Son Heung-min's team, LA FC. They have a connection through their work as models for a financial company, appearing together in commercials. Meanwhile, BIGBANG, the group G-Dragon is part of, is scheduled to headline the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in Indio, California, on April 12th and 19th.

In the 2026 Major League Soccer (MLS) Round 6 match against Orlando City, Son Heung-min delivered a stellar performance, recording four assists in the first half alone. This marks the second-ever instance of four assists in a single half in MLS history, and the first since Lionel Messi last year. Son Heung-min assisted Denis Bouanga's goals three times consecutively within an eight-minute span from the 20th to the 28th minute of the first half, and then assisted Sergi Palencia's goal just before halftime, totaling four assists. With this, Son Heung-min reached 10 official assists for the season, climbing to the top of the MLS assist rankings.
