The viewership ratings for the 5th episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama "My Dearest" recorded 10.9% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 10.6% nationwide, securing the number one spot among all programs on Friday. Notably, the scene where Yi An Daegun (played by Byeon Woo-seok) appeared at the Nae-jin-yeon ceremony soared to a peak of 13.7% per minute.

In the broadcast that day, Yi An Daegun decided to overcome the walls of reality, bolstered by the encouragement of Gil Chae (played by IU). After the car accident involving Gil Chae and the young king, Yi An Daegun learned of threats against Gil Chae. Due to the trauma of losing his mother in the past, he declared the annulment of their contract marriage to protect Gil Chae.
