BIGBANG Kicks Off Coachella 20th Anniversary
The group BIGBANG took the stage at the "2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival" (hereinafter referred to as 'Coachella') in California, USA, marking the beginning of their 20th-anniversary activities. This marks BIGBANG's first official stage as a full group in nine years, since their 'Last Dance Tour' in 2017. The performance, which was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic after being included in the Coachella lineup, finally came to fruition six years later.

BIGBANG proved their presence as 'K-pop legends' once again by performing 17 songs over approximately 60 minutes. The concert began with a video showing the moon shattering on a giant screen and time counting down from 2006 to 2026, offering a condensed look at BIGBANG's 20-year history. As the intro to their hit song 'Bae Bae' played, the audience erupted in a sing-along, and the members appeared amidst red lighting, instantly captivating the atmosphere.
On this day, BIGBANG thrilled the audience with a parade of hit songs including 'Bae Bae', 'Fantastic Baby', and 'Sober'. They also added depth as artists by presenting early debut songs like 'We Like 2 Party' and nostalgic tracks such as 'Loser', 'Haru Haru' (arranged in a ballad version), and 'Lies', all with new band arrangements. Notably, the performances of 'Haru Haru' and 'Lies' featured a grand instrumental accompaniment blended with lyrical vocals.

Solo stages showcasing each member's individuality also took place. Taeyang exuded explosive energy with 'Ringa Linga', while G-Dragon casually took selfies with fans' phones during his 'Power' performance. The two completed an art-film-like stage with their unit song 'Good Boy'. Daesung made history at 'Coachella' by performing trot songs, passionately singing 'Top of the Limit' and 'Look At Me, Gwisoon', turning California into a joyous festival ground.

Reuniting as a full group for the 'Home Sweet Home' stage, BIGBANG showcased their charisma in black and white outfits. The members performed 'Bad Boy' a cappella, completing the harmony with the audience's sing-along, and amplified the festival's excitement with dozens of dancers during 'We Like 2 Party'. During the final song, 'Still Life', the part of former member T.O.P played with his voice, evoking a touching sentiment.
