Heo Gayoon debuted in 2009 with 4Minute's digital single "Hot Issue" and was active until 2016, producing hit songs such as "Hot Issue," "What's Your Name?," and "Heart to Heart." She recently appeared on tvN's "You Quiz on the Block," where she candidly spoke about her life after 4Minute's disbandment, which became a topic of conversation. She revealed, "I've been living in Bali for three years," and explained that the reason she moved to Bali was because "my older brother suddenly passed away at the age of 33," receiving much comfort and support from viewers.
Having experienced both idol and acting careers, Heo Gayoon plans to focus on developing new artists under Cube Entertainment based on her know-how. As she herself debuted in the entertainment industry with Cube's 4Minute, she is expected to spend meaningful time nurturing junior artists upon returning to her alma mater.
