Lee Kyung-kyu's Daughter Lee Yerim Admits Parenting Struggles

Lee Yerim, daughter of Lee Kyung-kyu, revealed that she experienced mental breakdown during her first childcare experience on the tvN STORY program 'Childcare Intern'. Lee Yerim had no prior experience being with a baby for more than 10 minutes, and she appeared flustered when the baby cried and tried to be held, unsure of how to hold it. Eventually, when Ahn Jung-hwan held the baby, it stopped crying, and Lee Yerim honestly replied about childcare, "I can't do it."

Regarding plans for children, Lee Yerim confided her realistic concerns, stating, "I think I should, but I keep putting it off." Previously, when she appeared on Lee Kyung-kyu's YouTube channel, she had also mentioned that she doesn't particularly like babies and prefers dogs, so she doesn't feel like having a baby yet. She also mentioned the burden of responsibility and shared her thoughts about being a DINK (Dual Income, No Kids) couple.

tvN STORY's 'Childcare Intern' is a real growth entertainment show where prospective grandfathers with little childcare experience spend a day with a baby to learn about childcare. Lee Kyung-kyu and Ahn Jung-hwan, who stepped up as 'prospective grandfathers', show the process of two legends, who have reached the pinnacle in their respective fields, starting anew as 'rookie interns' in front of a baby. Lee Kyung-kyu displayed his inexperience as a childcare novice, making mistakes like putting a pacifier into a baby bottle and telling a 9-month-old baby, "Tell me when you're sleepy," eventually declaring his surrender by saying, "Yerim, you raise it," and "I can't do it."

Ahn Jung-hwan also showed confidence, but he ended up making the baby cry with excessive teasing and appeared flustered. He shouted, "I'm confident in my stamina," but soon lay on the floor, showing exhaustion and saying, "I want to cry." Lee Kyung-kyu, clutching his head and pleading, "I want to escape this space," and Ahn Jung-hwan, slumping to the floor and letting out a hollow laugh, saying, "This is hard," heightened expectations by showing the reality of childcare, which is like a war.

Meanwhile, the daughters of Lee Kyung-kyu and Ahn Jung-hwan elicited laughter by refusing their fathers' childcare assistance.
