The drama begins with the fast-paced live broadcast of a home shopping channel, showcasing the intense daily lives of Matthew Lee (Ahn Hyo-seop), a man from the countryside, and Dam Ye-jin (Chae Won-bin), a woman from the city. Matthew Lee impressed viewers with his "god-life" routine, juggling three jobs including mushroom cultivation, company management, and handling civil complaints, all while not forgetting exercise and reading. Dam Ye-jin is also a true workaholic, striving for sell-outs but losing her weekend prime time slot to a rival host.
Director Dong Hyun-gi (Shin Dong-mi) offers Dam Ye-jin her prime time slot back on the condition that she secures the global skincare brand L'etoile as a client. However, Dam Ye-jin is taken aback as she has no experience selling beauty products due to past trauma. Unable to give up the prime time slot, Dam Ye-jin meets with Seo Eric (Kim Bum), the executive director of L'etoile. Seo Eric shows a positive response on the condition that they resolve the cosmetic ingredient supply contract renewal together. To gain an advantage in the ingredient contract negotiations, Dam Ye-jin heads to Deokpung Village, home to the white flower mushroom farm.

At the same time, Matthew Lee, the owner of the white flower mushroom farm, stops his tiller upon spotting a rare red sports car in the village. The sports car was blocking the only road out of the village. Dam Ye-jin, trying to enter Deokpung Village, felt bewildered seeing Matthew Lee not moving his vehicle when she was in a difficult situation to reverse. In the tense standoff where neither could move forward or backward, only the honking horns, representing the anger of the two, echoed.
