Korean Dad's False Accusation & Tape Battle

In the 15th episode of SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Shin and the Law Firm,' prosecutor Shin Ki-joong (Choi Won-young), a prosecutor for the deceased, remembered his family. After recalling his family, Shin Ki-joong told his son Shin Yi-rang (Yoo Yeon-seok), "It's our Yi-rang," and Shin Yi-rang replied, "Dad," shedding tears. Shin Ki-joong later met his wife Park Kyung-hwa (Kim Mi-kyung) and daughter Shin Sa-rang (Son Yeo-eun) and was moved to tears.

After reuniting with his family, Shin Ki-joong asked his son Yi-rang if he could tell him about the past before he died. He said, "I don't remember my last moments clearly. I don't know how I died. I think I was on my way to retrieve evidence for Mr. Yoon's (Dae-myung) case," but he couldn't recall clearly. Shin Yi-rang said he wanted to hear his father's truth, not other people's stories, and Shin Ki-joong recalled the day he met Mr. Yoon.

According to Shin Ki-joong's recollection, Mr. Yoon had decided not to indict the perpetrators due to a fair judgment, but subsequently, lawsuits and accusations against Mr. Yoon began to pour in. Shin Ki-joong, wary of those who cleverly manipulated the law, advised Mr. Yoon to reconsider his relationships. After tracking them, Mr. Yoon witnessed a prosecutor and the parents of a bullied student meeting and informed Shin Ki-joong by recording their conversation. Shin Ki-joong died while trying to find that recording device, and his memory stopped at that point.

Shin Yi-rang informed him that Mr. Yoon was found to have taken his own life on the day of the accident. Hearing this, Shin Ki-joong instinctively felt that everything had been orchestrated by someone. In reality, Shin Ki-joong was known to have died in an accident, but drug components were detected in his body, and there were rumors that he had harassed Yoon Dae-myung. Shin Yi-rang apologized, saying that even he had thought his father was a corrupt prosecutor, and promised to restore his father's honor. With their misunderstandings cleared, Shin Yi-rang went on a trip to the bathhouse with his father and had a good time.

Meanwhile, Tae Baek's chairman Yang Byung-il (Choi Kwang-il) confessed to his son Yang Do-kyung (Kim Kyung-nam) that he was the prosecutor who harassed Yoon Dae-myung at the request of the perpetrator student's father. He claimed he did not order the murder, but it was revealed that he had administered drugs to Shin Ki-joong, who was dying from a traffic accident. Yang Byung-il was anxious about the fact that Shin Ki-joong knew the location of the recording device containing the corruption details.
