Kim Shin-young's Shoes Skyrocket 120x in Price

Entertainer Kim Shin-young revealed that sneakers she bought for 300,000 won in the past are now worth 35 million won. This was shown as part of her home and collection on the MBC entertainment show 'I Live Alone'.

Kim Shin-young's home featured a living room decorated with a hip atmosphere and a walk-in closet resembling a showroom. Passing through the closet led to a 'denim room', where rare denim clothing worth tens of millions of won was stored.

In particular, a shoe room filled with limited-edition sneakers drew gasps of admiration from the cast members. Upon seeing Kim Shin-young's shoes, Kian84 and Code Kunst commented, "Those are really expensive," and "The first edition is truly rare," highlighting their scarcity. Kim Shin-young explained her meticulous care for the shoes, stating, "I rarely step on the ground," and "As a homebody, I don't step on dirt."

Additionally, a separate space was dedicated to her work boots, and Kim Shin-young indicated the sheer volume of her footwear by saying, "​I stopped counting after 700 pairs."

Kim Shin-young recalled her childhood environment where it was difficult to buy the shoes she wanted, even having to wear her older brother's hand-me-down sneakers. She also shared memories of buying her own sneakers after working at a ribs restaurant in high school.
