BIGBANG Coachella 20th Anniversary Stage

The group BIGBANG will perform at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in Indio, California, to mark their 20th anniversary. BIGBANG is scheduled to perform for approximately 60 minutes on April 12th and 19th, local time. Their agency, YG Entertainment, stated that this Coachella stage will be the starting point for BIGBANG's global tour as a full group.

YG Entertainment released a video on social media previewing performances of BIGBANG's hit songs such as 'Bang Bang Bang,' 'Fantastic Baby,' and 'We Like 2 Party,' and announced that the setlist would include a comprehensive range of their hit songs. This Coachella performance marks the first major festival appearance with all members reunited, and they plan to launch their full 20th-anniversary global tour starting with this event.

Regarding their Coachella performance, the BIGBANG members stated with great determination, "This is a symbolic stage that heralds our new beginning." They also expressed their anticipation for connecting with fans, saying, "​We plan to showcase the best performance, breathing closely with fans worldwide and becoming one through music."

Just days before the Coachella performance, the members heightened anticipation by revealing glimpses of their practice sessions. Taeyang posted photos on his social media showing himself during Coachella rehearsals, along with the BIGBANG logo and name tags of the members. G-Dragon also shared a back view of himself checking choreography in a large practice room, along with an image of a ticket that read 'BIGBANG DESERT LIVE BACKSTAGE' and an LED screen displaying 'COACHELLALALA,' hinting at their intensive preparations for Coachella. Furthermore, a Coachella preview video featuring the BIGBANG logo fluttering against a desert backdrop was released on BIGBANG's official YouTube channel, sending fans into a frenzy.

This Coachella performance is significant as it marks the prelude to BIGBANG's 20th-anniversary activities and the first step in a large-scale project undertaken with YG Entertainment. YG has agreed with the BIGBANG members to hold the concert and has pledged to do their utmost to create a perfect and outstanding performance.
