K-Drama Actor Goo Sung Hwan's Epic Trek
Actor Koo Seong-hwan has embarked on a cross-country trek, as previewed at the end of episode 642 of MBC's variety show 'I Live Alone.' He is attempting this trek again, having failed in his 20s due to plantar fasciitis, with the mindset that "this is my last chance." His journey began at his home in Seoul and aimed for Gwangalli Beach in Busan as the final destination.
Koo Seong-hwan walked a total of 420 km over 16 days. On the final day, despite pouring rain and harsh weather, he reinforced his determination to complete the trek, saying, "I think I need to challenge my limits. The most important thing is mental strength."

A keychain of his recently deceased pet dog, Kkotbun, was attached to his backpack, bringing a poignant moment to viewers. Kkotbun had appeared on 'I Live Alone' with Koo Seong-hwan and received much love, and they had even filmed a commercial together.
Koo Seong-hwan announced on February 14th that Kkotbun had passed away, leaving a final message: "Kkotbun, who was so kind and affectionate... Thank you, I'm sorry, and I love you so, so much. We'll definitely meet again someday!"
