Lee Minwoo Reveals Kang Hodong's 19-Year-Old Secret

Actor Lee Min-woo appeared on JTBC's variety show "Knowing Bros" and revealed an anecdote about being scolded by Kang Ho-dong 19 years ago. On this day's broadcast, actor Jung Tae-woo and history instructor Seol Min-seok appeared as guests alongside Lee Min-woo, sharing historical talk related to King Danjong and behind-the-scenes stories from historical drama filming.

When the "Knowing Bros" members asked if he knew any of the guests, Lee Min-woo pointed to Kang Ho-dong and shared his experience of being scolded by Kang Ho-dong during the recording of 'Strong Heart' 19 years ago. He revealed that Kang Ho-dong shouted, "Mr. Min-woo, please speak faster. The channel will change," and that Kang Ho-dong did not speak to him for the next 6 hours. In response, Lee Min-woo expressed his frustration, saying, "Was speaking slowly such a big crime?" which elicited laughter.

Jung Tae-woo, who appeared with them, stated that Lee Min-woo's speaking habits had changed, and revealed that in the past, he was "an old soul and a꼰대 (a condescending older person)," causing bursts of laughter. Kang Ho-dong, explaining why he didn't speak to Lee Min-woo for 6 hours, appeared flustered and claimed, "I was protecting him because he looked tired."

It was also revealed on this day's broadcast that Seol Min-seok and Kang Ho-dong were the same age, which surprised viewers. Lee Min-woo and Jung Tae-woo shared their experiences playing the role of King Danjong. Lee Min-woo played Danjong during his time as the Crown Prince, while Jung Tae-woo played Danjong at ages 12 and 17 in the dramas 'Han Myung-hoe' and 'The King and the Queen,' respectively.
