Musinsa Seongsu Mega Store: Seoul's Hottest New Spot

Musinsa has officially opened "Musinsa Mega Store Seongsu," the largest fashion and beauty complex store in Korea, in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. Spanning a total of 2,000 pyeong from the basement to the fourth floor, it showcases over 700 brands and aims to be a comprehensive cultural space encompassing not only fashion but also beauty, F&B, and entertainment. This opening represents the culmination of Musinsa's curation capabilities and offline operational experience built online.

"Musinsa Town," which begins at Exit 3 of Seongsu Station, features various Musinsa stores such as Musinsa Standard, Musinsa Kicks, and Musinsa Run lining the street to maximize brand experience. The mega store building, with its all-glass exterior and high ceilings, resembles a department store. However, under the concept of "​THE ORGANIZED PATHWAYS," it utilizes an irregular structure and diagonal axes to naturally guide customers in exploring various brands.

On the first floor, the large pop-up space "Musinsa Space," hosting New Era and Frantic Service pop-ups, is located alongside shop-in-shops representing brands that define Musinsa Girls. A large shoe wall in the center displays shoes that can be matched with the girls' line. The basement level features global sports brands like Nike and Adidas, along with Musinsa Young and Work & Formal. The "​Musingsa" space, which combines brand pop-ups, coin karaoke, and a large media wall, allows visitors to sing songs for free and record time-lapse videos.

The third floor is entirely dedicated to Musinsa Standard, showcasing key items that have gone viral on social media and its newly launched seamless bra lineup. It covers various categories including men's, women's, home, and beauty, and incorporates self-checkout and ESL (Electronic Shelf Labels) for real-time price and promotion updates. Shop-in-shop brands are rotated every three months, and products purchased by global customers are placed in the center to optimize customer flow.

The core space of this mega store is Musinsa Beauty on the second floor. This is its first standalone offline store, covering approximately 150 pyeong and featuring around 700 brands, including Glip and Flowernose. It prioritizes indie and new brands over large, well-known ones and operates a "​K-Beauty Ranking Zone" that reflects real-time sales data from the online app over the past three months. Testers are available for most products, and washbasins and washbars are provided for customers to directly test skincare and cleansing products. Dedicated areas such as the "Omubyu (Only Musinsa Beauty)" zone, a perfume-exclusive area, and a fashion & beauty collaboration zone are also operated separately.
