Han Dam Pregnant After 6 Years of Marriage

Actress Handagam announced her pregnancy six years after her marriage. Handagam shared a handwritten letter on her Instagram, stating, "​In my sixth year of marriage, I have been blessed by heaven with a child," and "​I expect to meet the baby in the fall." Handagam, currently 47 years old, referred to herself as "​perhaps the oldest pregnant actress in the entertainment industry."

Regarding the pregnancy preparation process, Handagam revealed, "After finishing my play last year, I diligently prepared by visiting the hospital, and I succeeded with IVF on the very first attempt." She added about her current health status, "​I have passed the stage where I need to be extremely careful and am carrying out my usual exercise and broadcast schedules." She described this pregnancy as "​truly the point of stepping into a second life," and vowed, "​As the oldest mother-to-be, I will exercise diligently, pay attention to my management, and proceed with my second life with even greater caution."

Following the news of Handagam's pregnancy, congratulatory messages poured in from fellow celebrities. Actress Choi Myung-gil commented, "Congratulations, congratulations," while model Lee Sora sent her best wishes, "So, so congratulations! I sincerely pray for the healthy arrival of the baby into the world!" Actress So Yi-hyun also shared in the joy, saying, "Congratulations, unnie." Previously, actress Choi Ji-woo was considered the oldest pregnant actress in the entertainment industry at 45, but Handagam has now surpassed that record.

Handagam was born in 1980 and debuted in 1999. She changed her name from Han Eun-jung to her current name in 2018. She married a businessman one year her senior in 2020 and is now pregnant with her first child six years after her marriage.
