Scarecrow Hits Record 5% Viewership

ENA drama 'Scarecrow' recorded 5.0% nationwide viewership and a peak of 5.4% per minute for its third episode, breaking its own highest viewership ratings. With this, 'Scarecrow' has secured the No. 1 spot among Monday-Tuesday dramas and the No. 1 spot across all channels in its time slot for three consecutive episodes.

The third episode depicted the process of protagonist Kang Tae-joo (played by Park Hae-soo) finding the body of a missing victim and resigning from his police job. When Kang Tae-joo was on the verge of being excluded from the investigation due to the assault case involving Jeon Kyung-ho (played by Kang Jung-woo), he requested one last search opportunity from Cha Si-young (played by Lee Hee-joon), using his resignation letter as collateral. He sincerely stated, "I want to find the daughter for Ms. Choi In-sook's mother," and successfully located the body of the third victim. As promised, he left the Kangsung Police Station.

As Kang Tae-joo was leaving the police station, he coincidentally met high school student Kim Min-ji (played by Kim Hwan-hee). Kim Min-ji handed Kang Tae-joo two caramels and pleaded, "Can't you not quit being a police officer? Just catch the criminal, mister." However, that night, Kim Min-ji encountered the 'Scarecrow' in the darkness and was found dead. Kang Tae-joo's devastated expression upon seeing her body left viewers with a deep sense of sorrow.

Meanwhile, Seo Ji-won (played by Kwak Sun-young) cleverly exposed Jeon Kyung-ho's true nature to the public, pressuring the criminal by publishing a shaky photo taken during a confrontation. On the other hand, Cha Si-young (played by Lee Hee-joon) showed a ruthless side by fabricating the relationship between Kang Soon-young and Jeon Kyung-ho to solve the case, stimulating curiosity about future developments.

'Scarecrow' episode 4 will air on ENA at 10 PM on the 28th and can also be watched on KT Genie TV and TVING.
