BTS Reunion: J-Hope's Meaningful Message

BTS member J-Hope has revealed his thoughts on full group activities and future goals. In an interview with American music magazine Rolling Stone, he said, "I felt the members filling in each other's shortcomings" and "It was so precious that the seven members were faithful to their respective roles" when asked about reuniting as a full group. He added that he is happy when he sees fans enjoying themselves.

J-Hope spoke about his contemplations and reflections on activities at the pinnacle of his career, drawing parallels to the lyrics of his song 'Arson'. He honestly confessed, "I wondered if the intense attention and love were truly good, and if I shouldn't just extinguish the embers." However, he now emphasizes the meaning of growth, stating, "These aspects are all part of me, and I learn and gain things as I live my life." He also revealed, "It wasn't something I could stop even if I wanted to, and I'm greatly influenced by those around me," concluding, "Ultimately, not extinguishing the fire and continuing to burn was what I wanted and the most authentic choice for me."

Regarding the process of preparing an album as a full group, he expressed satisfaction with the new music production methods. J-Hope said, "The fact that all seven of us went to the US and had music sessions was a form of work we hadn't done before," adding, "We felt the culture and made music enjoyably according to the atmosphere." He evaluated that this album is special and unique because it features many songs with a different feel from previous ones.

When asked about the goals for BTS 2.0, J-Hope showed an attitude of focusing on the present rather than grand ambitions. He stated, "The fact that we are gathered itself is very significant, and making music together is amazing," and "If we move forward while enjoying the joyful emotions that fit our current situation, many things will naturally be achieved." He then conveyed his wish, "I want to continue making music enjoyably like this and cherish our bond and our connection with fans for a long, long time," expressing anticipation for future activities.
